The final Erasmus+ NomadTrail project meeting brought all five partner universities together in Dortmund during the International Summer Convention (ISC) 2026, held from 14 to 18 September 2026. After three years of joint activities, the meeting offered an opportunity to look back on the project’s achievements, reflect on lessons learned, and discuss the future of the established partnership.
For this special occasion, representatives of all five partner institutions met in person: Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Lithuania, University of the Basque Country (EHU), Spain, KU Leuven, Belgium, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, and Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), Germany.
The meeting focused on the results achieved throughout the three-year project period and the experiences gained from implementing joint activities across countries and institutions. The partners reflected on successful approaches, challenges encountered along the way, and lessons that can be transferred to future international projects. Another important topic on the agenda was the preparation of the project’s final report and results. The partners coordinated the remaining tasks and discussed the steps required to successfully complete the project and ensure that its outcomes remain available and useful beyond the funding period.
At the same time, the final meeting was also a moment to celebrate three years of productive cooperation and shared experiences.
Although the project itself is approaching its conclusion, the cooperation does not end here. The partners discussed future collaboration within the established network because another joint project is already on the agenda.
